  Alloy 925 is an age hardening nickel iron chromium alloy with excellent high strength performance and excellent corrosion resistance. Adding molybdenum and copper makes the alloy resistant to reduction, pitting, and crevice corrosion. The high chromium content provides resistance to oxidation conditions, while nickel protects the alloy from chloride ion stress corrosion cracking. By adding aluminum and titanium, the alloy can be age hardened.

  
  

  This alloy is typically selected for liquid and gas applications that require high strength and corrosion resistance. The Alloy 925 has excellent resistance to hydrogen corrosion cracking in acid gas applications. Applications include underground and above ground components.
