  • Alloy 901 Details

ALLOY901 is a high-strength and corrosion-resistant nickel based alloy material developed by the American Corrosion Resistant Metals Company in the 1970s. The metallographic structure of ALLOY901 is mainly composed of austenite and a small amount of ferrite, which has good high-temperature strength and high corrosion resistance, and is widely used in aerospace, nuclear industry, chemical industry and other fields.

The main components of ALLOY901 include nickel, iron, chromium, cobalt, copper, and titanium, among which nickel accounts for the highest proportion, reaching over 50%. In addition, ALLOY901 also contains small amounts of elements such as aluminum, manganese, silicon, and phosphorus. The addition of these elements can improve the high-temperature strength, corrosion resistance, and antioxidant performance of ALLOY901.

In addition to ALLOY901, there are other names for this alloy material, such as Inconel 901, UNS N09901, etc. Different terms mainly stem from different standards and application fields, but they all refer to the same material.
