  The main use of Alloy 48 is for metal sealed soft lead or alkali lime glass glasses. Alloy48 is also used for industrial applications of thermostats up to 450 ° C (840 ° F).

  
  

  Alloy 48 has good comprehensive performance in the temperature range of -253~700 ℃, with yield strength below 650 ℃ ranking first among deformed high-temperature alloys, and has good performance, processing performance, and welding performance.
