  • GH3128 Details

GH3128 (GH128) is a nickel based alloy reinforced with tungsten and molybdenum solid solution and grain boundaries reinforced with boron, cerium, and zirconium. It has high plasticity, high endurance creep strength, good oxidation resistance, and stamping, welding, and other properties. Its comprehensive performance is superior to similar nickel based solid solution alloys such as GH3044 and GH3536. Suitable for manufacturing combustion chamber flame tubes, afterburner shells, adjustment plates, and other high-temperature components of aircraft engines that operate for a long time at 950 ℃. The main products are cold-rolled thin plates, as well as hot-rolled plates, bars, forgings, wires, and pipes. The delivery state solid solution temperature is 1140~1180 ℃, air-cooled. The high-temperature performance is tested after supplementary solid solution treatment at 1200 ℃. Cold rolled sheet 0.8-4.0mm, hot-rolled sheet 4-14mm, cold drawn welding wire Φ 0.3-10mm. Cold rolled and hot rolled plates undergo solid solution and acid pickling; The welding wire is in a cold drawn, semi hard or solid solution and pickled state. Non vacuum or vacuum induction furnace with electroslag remelting. Alloy is suitable for manufacturing aviation engine combustion chambers and afterburner components that operate below 950 ℃, with good performance.

    Process performance and requirements

    1. The furnace temperature during ingot forging shall not exceed 700 ℃, and the final forging temperature shall be greater than 900 ℃.

    2. The average grain size of this alloy is closely related to the degree of deformation of the forging and the final forging temperature.

    3. Alloys can be welded using methods such as argon arc welding, spot welding, seam welding, etc.
