  • GH3030 Details

GH3030 solid solution strengthened high-temperature alloy is an early developed 80Ni-20Cr solid solution strengthened high-temperature alloy with simple chemical composition, satisfactory thermal strength and high plasticity below 800 ℃, and good oxidation resistance, thermal fatigue, cold stamping, and welding process performance. The alloy is single-phase austenite after solid solution treatment, and its structure is stable during use. The main product is cold-rolled sheet metal, which can also supply deformed products such as bars, rings, wires, and pipes. Mainly used for turbine engine combustion chamber components working below 800 ℃ and other high-temperature components that require oxidation resistance but bear very little load below 1100 ℃. [1] GH3030 has strong hot and cold working performance, used for making various chemical equipment and supporting accessories.

    Technical standards for materials:

GJB 1952-1994 "Specification for Cold Rolled Sheet of Aerospace High Temperature Alloy".

GJB 2297-1995 "Specification for Cold Drawn (Rolled) Seamless High Temperature Alloy Pipe for Aerospace Applications".

GJB 2611-1996 "Specification for Cold Drawn High Temperature Alloy Bars for Aerospace Applications".

GJB 2612-1996 "Specification for Cold Drawn High Temperature Alloy Wire Materials for Aviation".

GJB 3020-1997 "Specification for Aerospace High Temperature Alloy Ring Billets".

GJB 3317-1998 "Specification for Hot Rolled High Temperature Alloy Plates for Aerospace Applications".

GJB 3318-1998 "Specification for Cold Rolled High Temperature Alloy Strip for Aviation".

GJB 3165-1998 "Specification for Hot Rolled and Forged High Temperature Alloy Bars and Bars for Aerospace Load Carrying Components".

GJB 3167-1998 "Specification for High Temperature Alloy Cold Drawn Wire Materials for Cold Heading".

Note: According to the standards for bars and ring billets, Cu ≤ 0.20%.

    The standards for hot-rolled plates, cold-rolled sheets, cold-rolled strips, pipes, wires, and cold-drawn wires for cold heading specify that Fe ≤ 1.00%, P ≤ 0.015%, S ≤ 0.010%, Pb ≤ 0.001%, and Cu ≤ 0.007%.

    Variety specifications and supply status:

We can produce various specifications of deformed products, and deliver bars and ring billets without heat treatment; Hot rolled plates, cold rolled sheets, and pipes are supplied after solid solution and acid washing; The welding wire is delivered in a disc shape in the cold drawn state, solid solution and acid washed state, or semi hard state; The wire used for cold heading is delivered in a solid solution, acid washed state in a disc or straight strip shape, solid solution straight strip polished or cold drawn state; Delivery of pipes in solid solution and acid washing state; Cold drawn bars are delivered in annealed, annealed and pickled, annealed and polished, or cold drawn states.

    Metallographic structure:

After solid solution treatment at 1000 degrees Celsius, the alloy exhibits a single-phase austenite structure with a small amount of TiC and Ti (CN) between them.

    Process performance:

    1. This alloy has good malleability, with a forging heating temperature of 1180 ℃ and a final forging temperature of 900 ℃.

    2. The average grain size of this alloy is closely related to the degree of deformation of the forging and the final forging temperature.

    3. After heat treatment, the oxide skin on the surface of the parts can be removed by blowing sand or pickling.
