  Basic characteristics:

  TA16 titanium alloy, with a nominal composition of Ti-2Al-2.5Zr, is a low alloying material developed by the former Soviet Union ɑ Type titanium alloy. It has high plasticity, moderate strength, and good cold and hot pressure processing performance and process performance. Even more commendable is its excellent weldability and corrosion resistance, which are sufficient to meet the strict requirements of high-temperature environments (such as above 350 ℃).

  Application area：

  TA16 titanium alloy is an indispensable material for the heart of airplanes. Its existence provides solid support for the fire prevention, ventilation, oil leakage, air conditioning, and hydraulic systems of aircraft engines. In the fuel and lubricating oil pipelines of aviation engines, nearly 20 major repairs and vulnerable parts are made of TA16 alloy. In addition, due to its outstanding corrosion resistance, TA16 alloy is also chosen as the manufacturing material for the tubes used in the direct current steam generator of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants.
